The images are then processed to measure the velocity within the flow. Further processing provides flow vertices, iso-speed lines, streamlines, and flow field parameters distribution. The system usually consists of a CCD or CMOS camera, a strong laser, and a synchronizer that provides triggering for the camera and laser.
